![]() With a good amount of free and payware mods out there to make the official DLC content more of an optional purchase to go along with the base game of T:ANE. Nonetheless, the game is still good, despite being released in 2015. ![]() In my opinion T:ANE is basically a lite version of Trainz 2019, if comparing the 2 only with the base game, regardless of DLC content, it's practically the same core, albeit Trainz 2019 has updated UI, graphics, environment details/FX, and is still somewhat more 'recent' when compared with T:ANE. ![]() Since I've had an itch to try out something from the Trainz series for a while when I first saw gameplay of it years ago, but I held back due to the amount of DLCs that are practically small additions to the game anyway, as well as the subscription model to download mods with uncapped network speeds on their repository. ![]() So I bought this and Trainz 2019 to do a quick comparison test to see which one I'll be playing more often in the long run.
